Key Features
- Continuous Motion Cartoning System: The line operates on a continuous motion mechanism where cartons and products move together. This reduces vibration and avoids start-stop delays.
- High Output Capacity: Depending on carton size and product configuration, the system can achieve speeds of up to 250 cartons per minute. It allows the cartoning stage to match high-speed machines.
- Dual Carton Sealing Options: Supports both mechanical tuck-in closure and hot melt adhesive sealing. You can change this based on packaging type, transport requirements, and product sensitivity.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: The machine is built with a rigid frame and industrial-grade components designed to withstand continuous operation.
- Automatic Detection and Rejection System: Sensors monitor each stage of the process to detect missing products, incorrect leaflet insertion, or improperly sealed cartons. Faulty units are automatically rejected.
- Wide Carton Size Range: Can handle different carton dimensions through adjustable guides, forming units, and insertion systems. As a result, changeover between formats does not require complex modifications.
Applications
- Pharmaceutical Packaging Lines: Used for packing tablets, capsules, ampoules, and vials into cartons along with an instruction leaflet. These environments require proper packaging and documentation.
- Cosmetics and Personal Care Products: Suitable for packaging creams, lotions, tubes, and similar products where presentation and uniform carton quality are important for retail display.
- FMCG and Consumer Goods Production: Anyone can use this machine in high-volume environments where products must be packed. The system supports continuous operation without delays.
Workflow
- Step 1: Product Infeed: Products are transferred from upstream machines onto the cartoning conveyor. The system aligns and spaces them to match the cartoning cycle.
- Step 2: Carton Feeding and Erection: Flat cartons are picked from the magazine and opened using mechanical or vacuum systems. Each carton is formed accurately to prepare for product insertion.
- Step 3: Leaflet Folding and Insertion: If required, leaflets are folded and inserted into cartons before or during product insertion.
- Step 4: Product Grouping: Products are grouped based on configuration and inserted into cartons using controlled push mechanisms.
- Step 5: Carton Closing and Sealing: Cartons are closed using tuck-in flaps or sealed with adhesive, depending on the setup. It secures the content and prepares it for handling.
- Step 6: Inspection and Rejection: The system checks for missing products, incorrect inserts, or sealing defects. Faulty cartons are automatically removed from the line.
- Step 7: Transfer to Packaging: Finished cartons are discharged onto a conveyor and transferred to downstream systems.
- Step 8: Case Packing: Cartons are grouped and packed into shipping cases for storage or distribution.
